WordPress Support Me makes it easy to create accounts when you’re working privately with support personnel for a theme or plugin. Creating temporary admin accounts can be frustrating, but Support Me makes it painless. The plugin lets you manage support account sessions just as you would any other user account.

Creating an admin user account

If you wanted to create an admin user account on your WordPress site, you’d have to go to Users » Add New on the menu on the left. A screen will pop up so that you can add the required details like a username, email address, first name, last name, website, and password. Then, you specify their role as an administrator. 

You can also use the Temporary Login Without Password plugin if you don’t want your support personnel to worry about passwords, but this could be a security risk.

How does an admin user account work?

All WordPress support accounts give their users full admin privileges, except that they can’t create, promote, edit, or delete other users. Your site will be safe if you allow temporary user accounts.
